The Uman English Learning Hub - a new association created by the Faculty of Foreign Languages for professional development and exchange of experience among teaching staff, students and anyone learning English, has been opened at the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

To the hub opening came the president of IATEFL Ukraine Olga Pavlenko and the project manager for the study of the English language, the representative of the British Council in Ukraine Lyubov Masarska, teachers of the city and district schools, teachers of colleges and universities of the region.

A regional English-language hub opens the opportunity for communication in English for students, students, teachers, teachers, by passing barriers and uniting all enthusiasts around a common goal, the essence of which is to establish mutual assistance and support for the implementation and participation in projects and activities related to learning English, the exchange of experience, resources and the like.

The creation of the Regional English-language educational hub is being implemented under the project "Promoting the Development of Regional English-speaking Professional Communities in Ukraine", which is being implemented by the public organization "Ukrainian Branch of the International Association of Teachers as a Foreign Language" (IATEFL Ukraine) with the support of the British Council in Ukraine.
