Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University has been selected by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine among 27 higher education institutions to participate in the intensive course "Pedagogy of Primary School: Finnish Experience", developed taking into account the concept of "New Ukrainian School".

The trainings under the "Finnish support of Ukrainian schools reforms" (“Learn Together") were conducted by the experts of the Wicca Teacher Training School at the University of Helsinki.

Representatives of Ukrainian universities have been participating in the trainings for three days, which gave an opportunity to find out what the Ukrainian educational innovator of Finland can learn. The intensive course coaches revealed the peculiarities of the Finnish education system. In particular, the peculiarities of Finnish primary education teacher training program; development of educational program; development and use of educational materials at school level; assessment practices and tools at school; school education and upbringing, cooperation between school and parents; professional development of teachers.
