On 21 October 2024, the project ‘Social and Psychological Support for Mental Health of Youth in Lithuanian and Ukrainian Communities’ was launched as part of the youth exchange between Ukraine and Lithuania in 2024 and with the financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The project participants - students of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University - were warmly welcomed by the Grazin Gymnasium of the partner city of Uman - Radviliskis (Republic of Lithuania).

Egidijus Dailidonis, the school's Director, conducted a tour around the school, presenting classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern equipment and educational and methodological developments.

The tour included a presentation of the Lithuanian education system, the experience of a social pedagogue and a school psychologist, the development of inclusive education and the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies.

At the end of the tour, a constructive discussion was held to share experiences in supporting the mental health of students in both countries.

The Ukrainian delegation presented the Lithuanian colleagues with Ukrainian souvenirs and gifts.

The first day of the meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
