The University Rector Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi together with the Trade Union Head Valentyn Hytruk congratulated Physical Education Department students Valentyn Khmiliovyi with a successful performance at the World and European Championships in kettlebell lifting, which is traditionally held in Pécs (Hungary).

As a member of the national team Valentyn has thirdly participated in these prestigious competitions and becomes a champion for the third time! Our athlete took the first place in 2x24 kettlebell pushing, and was the best participant of the European Championship among adults in 2x32 where won the second place in kettlebell lifting. So, our students brought home two gold and one silver medals of the European championship among adults.

Relatives, friends, fellow students, teachers, professors, university and department administration congratulated the student. Rector Oleksandr Bezliudnyi wished Valentyn further success, new achievements and implementation of all plans.

Valentyn Khmiliovyi thanked the university administration for the full support and assistance in the development of young athletes. For him it is extremely important, because systematic training requires a lot of effort and time.
