On March 28, 2011 at the initiative of the student's council of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was held a traditional beauty contest "Miss USPU - 2011", in which 12 beauties took part - one representative from each faculty.

The theme of this year's event is "A mysterious world of the East". The contest consisted of six stages. In front of the eyes there was a great variety of images: Sultan boasted his wives - girls just fascinated everybody by the oriental dance (Stage I - "The Eastern"); business women devil podium with their mind -they were not even frightened with the tricky questions of the announcers (Stage II - "Business Style", the third stage - " Intellectual "), the contestants were able to demonstrate their ability of being on the screen (Stage IV - "Photo Session"); beauties revealed their exceptional talents (Stage V - "My Talent"), their unearthly tenderness contestants presented to all the present at the final stage of the competition "The Evening Dress".

The jury consisted of: the chairman of the jury - the deputy mayor of the executive bodies of the City Council Poliakov M.A.; the members of the jury: Director of the Company "Cruise Auto" Tsebrii O.V., PhD, Professor, Member of the Academy of Ukraine Azizov T.N., teacher of choreography in Taras Shevchenko Uman State Pedagogical College Boldyrev A.A.,the head of the educational work of the University Revniuk N.I.

As a result of six stages of the competition program, the final victory won the student of Primary Education Department Kudla Anna. She received the crown and the title of "Miss USPU - 2011".

The title "І vice-miss" got Prysiazhniuk Yana (Social Pedagogics and Applied Psychology Department), "ІІ vice-miss" - Iryna Danchyshyna (History Department).

All the girls were original in their way and distinguished themselves in certain categories:

• "Miss Originality" - Oksana Nikitenko (Physics and Mathematics d-t);
• "Miss Charm" - Olena Osadcha (Foreign Languages d-t);
• "Miss Tenderness" - Natalia Novakova (The Faculty Of Economics);
• "Miss Artistry" - Mariana Basista (Natural Geographic d-t);
• "Miss Grace" - Peiu Julia (Physical Education d-t);
• "Miss Business Style" - Darya Pecherytsia (Preschool Education d-t);
• "Miss Elegance" - Kateryna Figol (Ukrainian Philology d-t);
• "Miss Smile" - Anastasia Shchur (Arts and Pedagogics d-t);
• "Miss Femininity"- Tatiana Lishchynska (Technological and Pedagogical d-t).

The event was conducted with the financial support of university administration and the trade union committee, which allowed the participants to get not only a good mood, but also valuable gifts.

We should mention the activity of the student's council, representatives of which carried out the extensive preparatory work - advertising and informational support, direct the organization and the competition.

Everyone knows that beauty is not too much! "Miss USPU - 2011" provided an opportunity to make sure it once more. Visualize the beauty and let it return to you a hundredfold.
