As part of the agreement on creative collaboration Natural Sciences And Geography Department organized the meeting with a leading scholar in the field of zoology, director of Shmalgauzen Institute of Zoology of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences, member of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences Igor A. Akimov.

The first-year students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on "Development of zoological science at present stage" and familiarize with the research materials collected by our guest during expeditions to countries in different continents.

During a meeting Igor A. Akimov presented scientific papers of the Institute research workers and participated in discussion about the place of the modern problems of zoology in the content of secondary schools curriculum.
