On the 25th of April at the Exhibition Center of State Historical-Architectural Preserve "Stara Uman" the exhibition of students and lecturers creative works of Fine Art and Art Pedagogics Chair of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was presented.
Deputy Head of Uman District Administration Sergiy V. Rogalskyi, deputy head of Uman District Council Valentyna Shvets, Head of culture department Tetyana Heiko, the chief architect of Uman Victor M. Lisachenko, USPU Vice rector (humanitarian affairs), candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, honored worker of Ukraine Dmytro I. Baldynyuk, Dean of Art and Pedagogics Department, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Olena V. Dudnyk, well known Uman artists Oleksandr Shevchuk, Gennadiy Kleschar, Vitaliy Kryzhanivskyi and many others visited the exhibition opening.
The exhibition was opened by USPU Vice Rector of Humanitarian Affairs D. Baldynyuk, who noted a high skill and creativity of artists, as they had showed the best works - works of various art genres, forms of artistic techniques. Exhibition was an event in the cultural and artistic life of the city.
Exposition consisted of about a hundred works executed in various artistic techniques: painting (oil, gouache, pastel, watercolor), drawing (pencil, ink, pen, sanguine) works, decorative painting, Easter eggs, painted eggs, reeled dolls, embroidered shirts, ceramics, working with beads, floristry, straw.
The exhibition included works of current students and graduates: Victor Lysynyuk, Natalya Lutsenko, Olena Odnovolova, Yuliya Aleksandrovych, Iryna Zabolotna and others.
We thanked to hospitable hosts of State Historical and Architectural Preserve "Stara Uman": Director Oleksandr V. Melnychuk, Lyudmyla V. Sorokina and all their colleagues who helped in organizing the exhibition.
