Within the framework of the ERASMUS + Jean Monnet project, teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences headed by Dean Valeriy Mykolaiko, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Ecology and Methods of Teaching Svitlana Sovhira and environmental students took part in the International Summer School "Best European Water Safety Practices" to achieve the goals of sustainable development.

Participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with current challenges in the field of environmental safety of water resources, aquatic ecosystems of the National Nature Park "Bug Guard", operational environmental monitoring of aquatic environments characterized by water resources of Ukraine based on FAO global information system, modern methods of sanitation environmental organization from the reservoirs of another.

The second part of the international school was held in the form of a round table, where an active discussion were conducted.

According to the results of the school, participants received certificates for 18 academic hours. The participation of professor Svitlana Sovhira in the collective monograph "Water Security" was quite remarkable.
