From 23rd of April to 29th, 2023, the international summer school "Project acquisition and management" organized by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań for 26 Ukrainian partner universities was held in Dembina Palace near Poznan (Republic of Poland). Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was represented by Nataliya Sayenko, a leading specialist of the international relations department.

On the first day of classes at the international school, the main lecturer was Dr. Kostyantyn Mazur, who told the participants about the structure and mission of Adam Mickiewicz University, directions of international cooperation and about his own experience. The collection of gifts of the organizers was replenished with books by Ukrainian authors and decorative pysankas, made by Anastasia Blagopoluchna, a teacher-intern of the department of technologies and organization of tourism and hotel and restaurant business of our university.

The next academic day began with lectures by the director of the Adam Mickiewicz University Project Support Center Marek Fertig and Anna Stakhoviak-Shreybrovska, during which the importance of implementing scientific and research projects was emphasized, the main and secondary factors of project development were considered, and each representative from the Ukrainian universities were able to represent information about the implementation of their own projects in the institution of higher education.

The third day was devoted to the Horizon Europe program. Lecturers Pavel Kaczmarek and Nataliya Kuts detailed the possibilities of Horizon Europe for Ukrainian higher education institutions, separately focused on the issues of project financing, namely, types of expenses, taxation system, budgeting currency and settlement currency.

School participants prepared Ukrainian national dishes: borscht and cheese dumplings, thus expressing deep gratitude to Polish partners for their support and solidarity with Ukrainians.

On the next day of the internship, the practical classes of Marek Fertig and Anna Stakhoviak-Shreibrovska continued, built on teamwork on the project. The academic day ended with the speech of Adam Mickiewicz University vice-rector Przemysław Wojtašek, who emphasized the importance of expanding the geography of international consortia in project activities.

The organizers created a friendly atmosphere, conducted tours of important places in Poznań and the Adam Mickiewicz University, and also offered interesting and active leisure activities.

All participants received certificates of participation in the international summer school.
