On the occasion of the World Embroidery Day on May 19, 2022, Natalia Osipenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Ukrainian Literature, Ukrainian Studies and Teaching Methods, presented the experience of regional research of Uman region embroidery at the International Online Biennale. which took place at the Yuri Fedkovych National University of Chernivtsi. It was on the initiative of Lesya Voronyuk, a student of this university, that the celebration of the Day of Embroidery was launched in 2006, and in 2010 the holiday reached the state level and reached the world where there is a Ukrainian diaspora.

Scientists of Ukraine (Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Uman, Rivne, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Kolomyia Ivano) united around the traditions of the Ukrainian embroidered shirt. - Frankivsk region, Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region, Vyzhnytsia, Chernivtsi region, Verenchanka village, Korovia village, Chernivtsi region, Energodar city, Zaporizhia region) and abroad (Toronto, Canada; Warsaw, Poland, Koszalin, Poland, Istanbul, Turkey, Melbourne, Australia). The program of the international online biennial "Vyshivanka - the national amulet of the unity of Ukrainians, a symbol of indomitability and freedom" addressed the issue: Ukrainian vyshivanka - a symbol of national identity; embroidered shirt in the historical destiny of Ukrainians; sacred amulet: symbolism of the pattern and color of the Ukrainian embroidered shirt; pedagogical potential of Ukrainian embroidery in the era of modern transformations; national and patriotic motifs of Ukrainian embroidered shirts.
