Today, at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was held a meeting of the French ambassador in Ukraine, Ms. Isabelle Dumont with the university administration, Teaching Staff and students.

During the conversation with the rector Olexander Bezliudnyi, the ambassador discussed the future cooperation of our university with the educational institutions of France and the development of partnership relations. The rector told Ms. Isabel Dumont about the history and present state of the university.

During Ms. Dumont and Departments’ leaders conversation were outlined the possible ways in which students can participate in academic mobility and dual diploma programs. Possibilities of postgraduate training of French language teachers with partner universities in France and joint educational and research programs are also defined.

During a lively meeting with students, Isabel Dumont held a master class in French phonetics and freely communicated with them not only in French, but also in Turkish and English.

At the end of her stay at the university, the ambassador assured the university staff in expanding the cooperation of Ukraine and France in the context of university and scientific cooperation.
