On December 5, a final online meeting was held within the framework of the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchanges and the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Youth Exchanges organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

This year, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University successfully submitted and implemented two projects:

The youth exchange project ‘Ukrainians in Czestochowa: Together for the Community...’ (Republic of Poland), aimed at enhancing Ukrainian-Polish intercultural dialogue by engaging youth in exploring historical and cultural heritage, cultural interconnections, and fostering tolerance towards representatives of other countries.

The project “Social and Psychological Support for Youth Mental Health in Lithuanian and Ukrainian Communities”, which focused on analyzing and comparing practices of social and psychological support for youth mental health in Lithuanian and Ukrainian communities, identifying effective approaches and methods, and developing recommendations for their implementation to improve the psychological well-being of young people in both countries.

In total, 62 participants were involved in the projects, including academic staff, students from our university, and educational institutions Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa and the Gražina Gymnasium in Radviliškis (Republic of Lithuania).

During the meeting, participants listened to a report by the Youth Policy Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine on the outcomes of the Ukrainian-Polish and Ukrainian-Lithuanian Youth Exchanges. They also addressed challenges encountered during project implementation, shared experiences, highlighted achievements and difficulties, and provided proposals and suggestions for improving the organization of future competitions.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for financial support and the opportunity to implement youth exchange projects.
