Six years ago, 14 higher education institutions, including Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, joined the New Generation School Teacher Project proposed by the British Council in Ukraine.

For six years, university teachers have undergone a refresher course during the operation of summer and winter schools organized by the British Council. While testing the project and waiting for the positive results, the universities released the first English teachers under this training program and underwent an audit that impressed everyone: both participants and organizers. All project developers received certificates.

It is nice that our university is now part of the few that have moved to a completely new level of methodological training for future English teachers for the first time in Ukraine. Congratulations on the successful completion of piloting the program. We look forward to its large-scale implementation in Ukraine.
