The action "Forests, Parks,and Gardens Should Be Safe" had been organized by the staff of the research laboratory "Ecology and Education" senior lecturer Nataliya Dushechkina, lecturer Roman Podzerey, associate professor Svitlana Liulenko led by Professor Svitlana Sovgira. This action was held on March 27 on request of the administration of Sobkivka Forestry of State Enterprise of Uman Forestry (forester Petro Shevchuk).

It should be stated that the campaign "For Safe Environment" will start on April 1 in Ukraine. The project contains the idea of ​​organizing of the activities for the improvement of human settlements and the surrounding areas, clean waters, conservation of protected areas, reserves and other valuable objects, the implementation of environmental education and, in particular, the formation of young people qualities such as a sense of social responsibility, desire for active actions on streamlining and improvement of the environment. So the university began its environmental activities much earlier.

The action was carried out to improve the safety of the environment, elimination of unauthorized landfill sites. The participants removed six kilometers of forest. It is important that participants complied with all the technological aspects - from garbage collection to its transportation to the landfill.

Participants of the environmental action showed how to take care of the environment and nature and love native land.
