An important event - national amateur ensemble "Akvareli" celebrated its 10th anniversary of foundation took place in the hall of the university on the 21st of May. Ensemble was a regular participant of regional, district, city and university cultural events, the winner of the First Open All-Ukrainian contest "Vichnyy Rukh" (Drohobych, 2008). Constant head of the ensemble was Vira S. Kalabs'ka, the Winner of the IV International contest "Fortissimo" in the category "Orchestral and Folk Instruments" (Kharkiv, 2006).

The jubilee concert program included works of classical music composers, modern Ukrainian and foreign composers. Grateful students awarded the performers applause and beautiful flowers.

For that important event the creative team was congratulated by the chancellor Professor Natalya S. Pobirchenko. Vice-Rector of Scientific and Educational Work (Humanitarian Aspects) Dmytro I. Baldynyuk and Dean of Arts and Pedagogics Department Olena V. Dudnyk expressed their gratitude to ensemble and its head and presented the ensemble guitar.
