Our university is known to develop cooperation with foreign universities, including Polish. Students of Foreign Languages Department Inna Losinets, Iryna Chernyavska, Valentyna Cherevchenko and a student of Ukrainian Philology Department Nataliya Korzhenetska have been studying for two months at Jan Amos Komenski State School of Higher Vocational Education in Leshno on an exchange program organized by the Polish cultural and educational center. Uman students studied at the Department of Tourism and learnt a variety of subjects: Principle of Tourism, Servicing of Tourist Itinerary, Principles of Museum Organization, Organization of Celebrations, Pedagogy of Leisure Time Activities, Philosophy, Psychology and Principles of Excursion Organization and such languages as Polish, English and French.
