On October 18-19, staffs of Physics and Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Geography Departments of the Institute of Natural, Mathematical and Technologic Education had been receiving the participants of All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Actual Problems of Training of Natural Sciences Subjects’ Teachers for Modern Comprehensive School". Conference was a logical continuation of several activities of the approbation of research results obtained by University scientists during the research of a state budget theme "Functional and sectoral approach to future teachers training in the educational field "Natural science" for general educational establishments".



The conference was attended by 120 people. Full members of NAPS of Ukraine - 2, corresponding members of NAPS of Ukraine - 2, doctors, professors - 19; Ph.D. - 71; graduate students, lecturers - 26, as well as teachers of physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics took part at the conference.

Geography of participants: Cherkasy, ??Kirovograd, Donetsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Chernigiv, Uzhgorod, Khmelnytsk, Chernivtsi, and Volyn regions, Kyiv, Sevastopol and foreign guests from Bryansk ( Russia).

Among the participants:

Sergiy I. Bondarenko – Ph.D. (Physics and Mathematics), associate professor, head of Pedagogical and Postgraduate Education Department of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine;

Mykola I. Shut - doctor of sciences (Physics and Mathematics), professor, full member of NAPS of Ukraine, Head of the General Physics Chair of M. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University; Gennadiy A. Gryshchenko - Ph.D. (Physics and Mathematics), professor, Head of Experimental and Theoretical Physics and Astronomy Chair, chairman of the subcommittee on physics and astronomy of NMC on Pedagogical Education of Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Ukraine.

The conference ended with a discussion of its recommendations, photographing in memory and excursion to the park "Sofiyivka".

Leaving, the participants positively responded about the high level of organization of the conference and its significant contribution to the development of a new strategy of teacher education.
