On the 1st of July the 10th anniversary of Reserve Officers Training Department creation in Military Academy (Odesa) was solemnly celebrated.

Rector of Uman Pedagogical University Nataliya Pobirchenko also congratulated the Department.

Since March 2012 70 students of our university have been studying at Odesa Military Academy according to the training program of reserve officers in landing and common to all arms directions. Training will last 2.5 years. Upon studying completion students will receive the initial officer rank of junior lieutenant in the reserve and, if desired, can serve in Ukrainian Armed Forces for officer positions.

Department Of Reserve Officers Training is a well known place for officers, where high words "officer honor," "courage" become real. Faculty graduates annually replenish the officer corps of the country, becoming military elite, beauty and pride of our State.

We hope that during field trainings, shooting and tank training areas our students will be formed as the professional defenders of our Motherland, embrace the wisdom of military science, become the continuators of national military school traditions.
