Location. It is located in the heart of Ukraine. Uman is equidistant between West and East, South and North. At the same time the distance from the town to such regional centers as Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Vinnytsia is about 200 km. Bus connections with all corners of Ukraine pass through the town.

Concentration of students and educational institutions. Uman is a town of regional significance. It is a town with 16,000 students (20%) per 80,000 population. In accordance with the Rules of Admission for higher education at PAVLO TYCHYNA UMAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY, acceptance of applications and enrolment of foreign citizens is held for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from July 01, 2022 till November 01, 2022; from November 10, 2022 till November 30, 2022.

Admission to the Preparatory department for foreign citizens

is held all the year round.

Studying is conducted in Ukrainian or English depending on the choice of the applcant.

THE PROCEDURE OF RECOGNITION

For entering a foreign educational document into force on the territory of Ukraine for further education foreign citizens have to undergo the procedure of recognition of educational documents. In accordance with the current legislation the submission of documents to the State Enterprise "Information and Image Center" for the procedure of recognizing a foreign educational document should be done by the beginning of the second semester of the first year of study of the owner of the document. INFORMATION ON ISSUANCE OF TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMT CARD FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS AT THE TERRETORY OF UKRAINE

Documentation of foreign citizens at the territory of Ukraine must be carried out in accordance with current legislation. Detailed information is available at https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/z1110-11#Text. Foreign citizens who arrived for study purposes must be documented by a temporary residence permit issued on the territory of Ukraine, which is issued for the period of study. The University provides support in preparing a package of documents for the territorial division of the Migration Service of Ukraine in Cherkasy and timely submission of documents for a certificate. UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

There are two dormitories in the university campus: dormitory № 1 (nine-stored building) and dormitory № 2 (five-stored building) standing nearby to each other. Dormitories have double, triple and quadruple rooms. One dormitory is of sectional type, with bathroom and kitchen in each section.

THE FEES FOR LIVING IN A DORMITORY

for foreign students is 25 $ per month in 2022.
