PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS OF THE PAVLO TYCHYNA UMAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens prepares foreign citizens, stateless persons for further admission to the accredited specialties of the Bachelor and Master's degree programs to the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and other higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

The tasks of the preparatory department are to find, develop and support the students of the preparatory department from a circle of foreign citizens.

•  Foreign citizens are trained in Ukrainian, in the following disciplines:
• Ukrainian language;·
• country studies;· 
• mathematics;·  
• biology;· 
• the basics of the economy;·     
• fundamentals of computer science and computer engineering.

Form of study - full-time.
The term of study at the preparatory department is 10 months.In order to enter the preparatory department for foreign citizens, a candidate must receive a formal invitation for study for entry into Ukraine.In case of full implementation of the curriculum and successful passing of credits, the listener of the preparatory department for foreign citizens of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University receives a certificate of the completion of the preparatory department. The certificate of the state sample, received by the foreigner, allows the graduate of the preparatory department to continue his studies at the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, as well as at any university of Ukraine.If the curriculum is not fulfilled, the listener must complete a language training course again.
